Applications for Short & Sweet auditions close on August 2.
Although most roles in Short & Sweet are for older actors, and therefore your chances of getting in are limited, it's great to have the experience of just doing a real audition, so I STRONGLY recommend you have a go. And who knows, maybe some director is looking for someone just like you.
Kat and I had a go last year, while everyone else made up excuses and wussed out, and while it was a little scary and we were both unsuccessful, we both agree it was an awesome experience - and certainly not hard at all (you have to perform a 1-2 minute monologue of your choice. That's all.
Auditions are a single timeslot for your gender/age, which will be somewhere on either 4,5, 10 or 11 October
For the moment though, you just have to register online. You can always pull out later if you lose your courage, so if you're uncertain, go ahead and sign up, and see how you feel closer to audition time.
