ARBY nominations

These are the categories I think we're going with.
What I need from you guys is nominations for them (NOT votes yet). Email or message please, they need to be secret.
I've tried to describe what each category is for, but still please give me not just names but also reasons, just so I can check that you're nominating them for the right thing.

Most Courageous
- Eg: writing a script about something personal and difficult to share, taking on responsibility that no-one else was prepared to, standing up for the group's principles, performing in intimidating circumstances etc

Best performance by a probationary member (voted by full members)
- probationary AT THE TIME OF PERFORMANCE eg Gemma could be nominated for playhouse despite being a full member now. Jamie could NOT be nominated for playhouse, cos he wasn't in the group then, but he COULD be nominated for Peter Pan or one of the plays he's in for RAW

Best stage kiss (voted by all members)
I know there was Kat and Deb in Peter Pan...can't think of any others this year...were there some in Playhouse? Needs to be in a performance

Best save (voted by all members)
- covering for a stuffup in a live performance (needs description of what the stuffup was, and exactly how it was saved, eg imrovising an action or a line)

Best performance from a non-member (voted by all members)
- there were some in Playhouse, plenty in Peter Pan, and there will be some in RAW

Redback Spirit award (decided by me & founder members)
– passion for the group, enthusiasm for its projects, contribution to fundraising, selling of tickets to shows, support for fellow members. Must give reason for nomination as well as name.

Best script - play (voted by all members)
- pretty straightforward

Best script - monologue (voted by all members)
- pretty straightforward (if you don't know the title, try to describe it)

Best scriptwriter (voted by all members)
- overall, so might be for quality, or quantity, or a mix of both

Best monologue performance (Decided by me)
- any publicly performed monologue can be nominated, could from drama class or RAW. Can nominate your own


There will also be some categories that I don't need nominations for:

Theatregoer of the year (have stats as part of overall ARBY award)
Best Dressed (voted on the night)
Best actor for each individual performance (Playhouse, Peter Pan, Short & Sweet, RAW - based on votes for overall ARBY award)
and of course
Redbacker Of The Year
