Day One (1)

At around 4 pm we went off to our destination - Lavers Hill. There were three teams for RBTs Amazing Race Season 1. Team Emo consisted of Mr C, Me (Patrick), Luke, Ash and our Emo Queen, Kirsten. Team Red Bull consisted of Miss MacCarthur, Stacey, Laura, Flynn and last and least Emily. Team Snow Patrol consisted of Mrs C, Debbie and Kat.

The first leg of the race was to drive up to Colac and find a place to eat. Team Emo came first, of course. Followed by Team Snow Patrol and finally Team Red Bull. In KFC, Ash kept having fits of laughter when she and Kirsten were coming on to each other whilst locals watched in disgust... lol...hilarious actually. Then we all cracked up laughing and nearly got kicked out of KFC.

Team Emo left KFC first, naturally, and fell upon Lavers Hill, winning the second leg. Team Red Bull followed, then it was Team Snow Patrol who came last. Everyone settled into the small cosy house where a memeber from Team Emo started an alliance from a member from Team Red Bull (Me [Pat] and Stace). We wanted to watch an ep of W&G but Luke argued that they were "gay"...obvioulsy...so we all argued about the tv and its channels. Ash then formed an alliance with Flynn, which made Kirsten angry because they shared a tight bond at Narracoorte. Later, the majority of us played a game of "Bulls**t", where Kat tried so hard to win, and did once!

Day Two (2)

We awoke to a cold cloudy morning. However, that did not stop us enjoying the day. On the third leg of the race, Team Snow Patrol raced to the Otway Fly. Team Emo came second, and Team Red Bull came third. The road block was for everyone to climb the steps to the top of the lookout. Team Snow Patrol lost, with Mrs C refusing to climb it. Team Red Bull also lost the roadblock as Miss McCarthur refusing also. After Team Emo's successful win, they enjoyed a burger at the local pub...as did the others. We then left for Warrnambool, where Team Emo one yet another leg! "HUZZUH!" they cheered.

We roamed around Flagstaff Hill where we played dress-ups. We then went our seperate ways with half watching Eragon at the local shitty Theatre, and others going to the Carnival...whilst Scott got lost in the maze. We then went back to Flagstaff Hill and watched the Sound & Light Show. We all enjoyed the first but the best was the Fish Opera. After the entertaining opera, we left for Lavers Hill. When the clock struck 12 am Kirstens alarm went off and wished me a Happy Birthday. I believe the word were "Oh, Pat, Happy Birthday...". Then the whole team sang me Happy Birthday, ahh fun! SMS messages poured in to my phone...then we went to sleep at Lavers Hill.

Day Three (3)

MY BIRTHDAY! Today was a "rest" day (or so Mrs C thought muahahahahahaha) where we went to visit the 12 Apostles. I was surprised with an excellent birthday present from my friends and teachers - it was a helicopter ride around the 12 Apostles. Kirsten and Stacey joined, and Mr and Mrs C went on another heli. After the scenic views of the 12 Apostles we went back to Lavers Hill and made dinner. Kirsten and I baked a cake and guess what?! NO ONE died...much to Mr Cs dismay. Later we left for Loch Ard Gorge where we watched 'The Tempest' and Ash fell in love with Sebastian.

After the show Ash and I yelled out 'SLIT MY WRISTS!!' where Luke, Kirsten and Mr C got scared. Some of us went to see glow worms at the local rain forest later at night. When we got home, Kirsten converted Ash, Luke and I to the dark side. This happened when there was a full moon! A group of us formed a slumber party in the lounge and watched Jerry Springer. Ash put tomoato sauce on Luke. Later karma struck her when Luke put a whole heap of it on her. They had a mini war until Luke let off an atomic bomb in Ash's face!

Day Four (4)

My weather forecast was right as the last day turned out to be a nice and sunny day. The last leg of the race was a race to the beach. Of course Team Emo won! Yes, that's right, we won the race! There we made more Emo pictures. Then we headed home, stopping at various places. Many questions were asked. The funniest was when Kirsten didn't know where we were. 'We're in Victoria, right?'
