Beauty and the Beast
Is in September. It has one of the actors from Guys and Dolls in it. If more than 20 people are interested in going to see it, the cost is $22 per person. Forms are available from Caughey.

Ms McArthur’s Class
Ms McArthur wants to write a short play with one of her classes for our festival. She has asked for some help during period 2 on Friday. Volunteers are – Debbie, Kat, Amy, Adele, Laura.

Melbourne Arts Festival
Is in October. There is only one play that Caughey recommends going to see – “1984” (the idea that started Big Brother).

Nominations/Promotions
The founder members have voted, and Laura has been promoted to a full member. Congratulations Laura! We had a chat to our probationary members about their involvement and suggested to them to think about opportunities to prove themselves to become full members.
There were 3 nominations Didier, Roshan and Darren. The group is still pondering…

Complaint against a member
A complaint was made against a member, discussion about procedure to follow. It was decided that Mr C would speak to the member before proceeding further.
