The year 10 drama class, featuring many Redbackers, absolutely rocked the Monash Schools' Theatre Festival last night. The judges loved it, the other competing schools (including the one that called us 'trash') loved it, and most importantly, the audience loved it. People were quite literally moved to tears, and even I came close, with the hairs on the back of my neck standing up, even though I've seen them rehearse and perform it dozens of times.
Last year when I took some of our kids to see what the festival was like, they walked out saying "There's no way we could ever do that".
Well last night they did.
And they were AWESOME.
Well done to Adele, Kirsten, Sarah, Patrick, Terri, Debbie, Laura, Sunny, Luke, Emily, Amy and the rest of the year 10 drama class.

caughey, seeing as you said you came close to tears (but didn't actually cry). i feel that you should prove you acting and drama abillities by actually crying infrontof the class, as if you were crying after our perfromance on friday
that is all

I nearly did at our last class, after I realised how many people were going to fail cos they couldn't be stuffed writing their journals
