Today (raining)

Ok, so I know it's raining. That's why I firmly believe that all weather reporters are the spawn of the devil and should be burnt at the stake (preferably on a day they've forecast for rain, just for extra irony when it doesn't, and the flames don't get put out).

But anyway, that's ok, kinda at least, because the Cafe is completely undercover. Even the outside bit has a big canopy now. So everything goes ahead as planned, and hopefully the rain clears before we finish eating, and we can still go and stuff around on the beach. Or bring a rainjacket/umbrella in case it doesn't.

Photography girls, you need to go see Ms Jameson before we leave in the morning, she'll sort you out for cameras and film and instructions and stuff. I told her I'd get you back by about 12, so I'll send you back with Mrs C, cos she has to go to work in the afternoon anyway.

Everyone else, we can take our time a bit if you want, depending on weather and how long it takes before you all get teenage-bored...

It's gonna be about 23 degrees according to the Weather Channel, so should be nice
(I hate them I hate them I hate them I hate them I hate them I hate them)

Wear sensible clothes please, and consider bringing a towel and a change of clothes too, if not an actual swimsuit. I don't think I've ever taken kids here without at least some of them getting wet up to the waist and/or splashing each other.

Also bring beachy shoes. There's rockpools as well as sand, and again, a fair chance whatever you wear will end up wet.

Now look what you've done, you've gone and made me sound all grandmothery
